Mimic Tang with one clowdy eye

My mimic tang has one clowdy eye! He looks well and is very active but one of his eyes is very clowdy.
He was in a tank too small for him with many corals when I got it. Can this be some kind of trauma?
Do clowdy eyes have a treatment procedure or good water and proper nutricion can possibly bring the fish eye back to normal?

For a single cloudy eye, I recommend a very large water change and very careful control of the water quality. With proper diet, the fish should repair its own eye.

If the eye stays cloudy for more than two days after the water change or if the cloudy eye gets worse, or if both eyes get cloudy then an antibiotic treatment is needed. HOWEVER, if there is a treatment needed, it means the marine tank has problems that has led the fish to this condition -- the tank needs 'fixing' in stopping whatever it was that led to this -- water quality, tank mates, stressors, diet, any or all of theses.
