Niger Trigger is a little thin

I saw a Odonus Niger Trigger at the LFS that seemed to be suffereing from malnutrition. He was not being fed enough, he had a great appetite, but he was too skinny. His stomach was sucked in. He is eating formula 1 and mysis shrimp. Any suggestions to fatten him back up?

Cool Re: Niger Trigger is a little thin

Hi JRE34 ; I would soak his food in some Selcon or any ather food soak multi-vitamin and fatty acid supplement to get his immune system better and fatten him up . Go to a fish market or grocery store and get some cold water ocean red salmon, mussle ,clam and whatever fresh types of seafood you think it would like and find out what he or she likes best and feed that every day and mix it up with other foods you find he likes.Good Luck!!!!

Thanks for the info will definitely try it. I have noticed the more I feed the less shy he is. He is already starting to fill out. He is looking pretty dog on sweet.
