    Really worried - need help!

I have a queen angel that has... something... over one eye as of this morning. It looks like a glass cup - it's clear - I can see right through it to its eye. It's not pop-eye, the skin isn't disturbed and I can see the iris/cornea is firmly planted in the socket. It's literally like someone took a tiny glass cup and put it over the fish's eye.

It is swimming and behaving normally, and eating fine this morning. It's head is cocked a little to the side I think to compensate for the "thing" on it but that's it.

I have a UV system and skimmer in the tank, and all other fish are perfectly normal.

    Any clues here?

Well - whatever it is seems to have "popped" - the "rim" is still there but the bubble is gone. Any ideas?

    The eye still looks fine...

The typical ornamental marine fish eye has a mucous coating over it. It sounds like some liquid got trapped between the mucous coating and the eye's surface.

    Thank you!

Is there anything I should do for this fish? Hospital tank or something of the sort?

Just recheck your water quality in all kinds and means possible. This read will give you some things to consider, with regards to water quality: What is Water Quality

I'd attempt to list all possible considerations, but I'm afraid I'd miss some or many things that that particular post covers.
