Hey everyone i lost a frag of acropora out of nowhere thismorning..
I had him for about 2 months with no problems or so i thought.
at first it just looked like a branch was bleaching and
He was showing no signs of peeling untill i got up today and it was
too late then. No signs of acropora eating flatworms.
and nothing is close anough to sting but one problem i did notice is his polyps
were never exteded. honestly thought he didnt have any.
I was told he was rainbow at the LFS i got him from and i
did research but was hard to find much to compare him too
besides frogskin acropora. My question is has anyone
had this problem before and i have removed him are my other
corals at risk? also do all acros have polyps?
all water levels are fine but my nitrites are a bit high but
i think that is because of him dying over night and he smells
really bad so i didnt risk it. Out the window he went.
Thanks in advance everyone
Ryan
