    Blue tang killed

I had a baby blue tang about 1" in my tank with a spider decorator crab, an emerald crab, some feeder shrimp (about 1 inch), a molly miller blenny, a filefish and two baby puffers (1" as well). I know it was not the puffers/filefish, the tang was healthy and active and would school with the three other fish. today i found his skull with a small fragment of spine on the bottom of the tank. what happened? who do i need to take back to the LFS?

No telling what happened. He's skinned because he got to the bottom and the CUC ate him, but basically thats what they are there for. There is no way anyone is going to ba able to give you an indication of the problem without having seen the fish. But, as always, whats your water parameters? More over, whats your Ammonia and Trites?

I havent had time to check water quality in some time, but i have some anemone in there who is thriving (given to me).
he was picked clean. Could it have been the anemone?

I think he means check it now due to the previously rotting dead blue tang carcass.

will do, but there was no carcass, only a skull and half a spine, he was picked clean. any ideaa as to how? did he get sick and get eaten by the crab? or the anemone?

He definately got eaten by your clean up crew, no doubt about it. But, it will be a mystery as to why. We have nothing to go on. Sorry.
