My LFS showed and sold me ICH-X by hikari for my 2 clowns and coral beauty.
they are in a 10g quarantine tank and he told me to dose it to my qt.. I just saw the ingredients: water, formaldehyde (<5%), methanol (<2%), malachite green chloride (<0.1%). Will this really help cure ICH, marine velvet, and such? I am going to add 5 mL of it every day for the next 4 days (already added twice) and replace 1/3 of the QT water every day before adding medication. My LFS claims he runs copper in his fish tanks(not in the invert tanks), but still showed me this product. How long am I supposed to dose this medication anyways? Is 4 days enough?
it says to not medicate with other medications, does that mean after 4 days of medication the ICH-X, I still can't medicate the tank with, say Seachem's Paraguard?![]()
