    how naughty are damsels?

I am actually thinking about buying a blue damselfish for my reef. Will 1 damselfish harass 6 green chromis? I also heard that if you put an aggressive species in the tank, it will force chromis to school. Will the damselfish force 6 chromis into schooling?

You will likely end up with one Chromis in the end. A Blue Damsel, is more than likely a Blue Reef Chromis, unless you say blue tail damsel. There are a few different ones. But, they will chase each other til ou only have one. Unless you have a huge system.

random question here - are Ziploc bags reef safe? I need to transfer my clownfish from my quarantine tank to my main tank and I need a Ziploc bag to temperature acclimate him. Can I fill he Ziploc bag with the QT water and let it sit in the main tanks water with the clownfish inside it?

I've used Ziplock bags to transfer all of my fish from QT without any issues. Generally, if it's safe for food, it's safe for your tank.

    Re: how naughty are damsels?

There's a species of damsel that is just a bit nippy, and will defend its chosen cave. It will rush out and puff at any smaller fish it sees, but if something puffs back, it backs down. It is a brilliant blue with a yellow tail. The yellow extends onto its body a bit. DO NOT get it if the belly is blue! If it has a blue belly, it's a yellow-belly devil (MEAN FISH!). Also, ziploc is perfectly safe. So are disposable clear plastic cups.
I really hate it when people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies" TREAT ALL ANIMALS LIKE THEY COST $10,000!!!!!!http://dragcave.net/image/QnMBQ.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/DCQDb.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/8qT9W.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/CP52M.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/P7mZ4.gifplease click a link, it's nothing bad.
