Hey Devon, Not sure if you're the same Devon I met at the meeting last Saturday, but if so, it was nice meeting you. Something came up, so I had to leave suddenly, but was nice getting to chat with you. By the way, nice tank sir!! And you're right, sorry. It's Jesse.
Here's what my finger leather looks like when shriveled and not (or vice versa):
I don't know what I'm going to do with this tank, to be honest. I wish I hadn't bought it. Maybe I'll set it up as a softie tank and then wait to get a bigger tank for SPS.
That seems weird to me. My devil's hand seems very friendly. It's crowded by my pocillopora and xenia and noone seems to be injured. It never changes color unless it shrinks up and then it is a little darker but never for more than a few hours. I am definitely going to have to do under the tank sum and fuge as I don't really have another option though when I go bigger, I'll take what you said under consideration.
No, my devil's hand doesn't seem to bother anyone. Why does yours? Why wouldn't you put the sump under your tank? Would you put it beside the tank? Tell me more.
I was just kidding Devon. That's about the most expensive coral I've ever seen. I hope you can find something interesting to order for you tank. It looks beautiful from the photos you brought to the meeting. My tank is doing well. I can't wait to get my 55 going. I just hope to learn enough about lighting, sumps, refugiums, etc with the 55 so that I can be confident moving up. When the weather warms up, I will start the recon on the stand and start work on the sump. Should be a huge learning curve. I'm looking forward to it. I'm reading a book right now that Charlie loaned me, Coral Propogation by Anthony Calfo. It's great info. Charlie has a nice little reef library. Don't tell him that I told you so. ;-) Cyn
No problem. Nice dogs too. I'm not big on indoor pets but I have to admit they are cute.
Devon I emailed you amd Shelby earlier. Cute dogs.
