Just Set Up My 10 Gallon And Soon 60 Advice Please

Hi everyone, I would like to introduce myself, my name is justin marr and I am 14 years old!
Just about a month ago i set up a 10G in my room. originaly I had it as a freshwater tank and just decided to convert it.
I have my salinity at 1.023 and a half and according to my LFS water tests and my damsel living everything is good. I decided a nice pair of clowns would look nice. After adding Nemo and Marlin, I added a TINY Yellow Tang. Its been about a month and everything has been going well, today I went to my LFS to get an anemone and after looking at the prices I reconsidered on the way out I spoted a Snowflake eel, also A VERY SMALL ONE I had to get it after about 30 minutes of observing his actions toward my other fish and looking at good tank mates online. I decided they will all be fine, also when i put my tang in I got rid of my damsel because he attacked my tang!! And well thats a brief summary of where im at and some advice would be appreciated.. P.S. I will be setting up my 60G after christmas and need some advice. whats the benefit of a sump, a refugium, a skimmer, and things of the like. any tips on anything or advice is great!! Oh and also it will eventually be a reef tank with corals and stuff thank you.

Sorry, but just my two cents here. Your stocking list is absolutely, without a doubt, 100% certified outrageous for a 10 g. A snowflake eel, two clownfish and a yellow tang is max stock enough for a 55 gallon, let alone a 10 gallon. Regardless of how tiny they are now, they will grow quickly. Right? And it's only a matter of time before the snowflake eel makes the other fish his dinner.

I would get that 60G going sooner if you expect to keep that stock. Soon as in tomorrow. And an anenome after a month is probably a bad idea. I would suggest minimum of 6 months...even a year on that to let tank stabilize and get into a routine.

Do yourself a favor and save your money for now - you have a lot of research to do.

Thanks, My friend took my Yellow Tang and My Snowflake eel. thanks for the advice I had no idea!

Now my crazy neighbor just sold me her 140 gallon with the stand for 30 bucks. So I will now need advice on how to set that up.
