today i started to run my R/O unit watch it for about an hour was not very exciting though drip drip drip
i recon 24 hours to fill my tank

Yea, I hear ya. I got a 165g a day RO/DI, but I am running a 240g tank and knew I was going to need water alittle faster than 55g a day unit. It was worth it.

The cold weather will also lessen the output of the flow. I am seeing that now here in the North East.

its still 13c here and raining
but tomorrow it will be full how long can i keep r/o water stored

Keep the water moving and heater in it. I use mine for top offs, and do a water change about every 3 months, so I'd say you can keep it for quite a bit of time.

my salt mix is in currently at 1.026 going to leave it there till the morning temp 24.2 my protein skimmer does not seem to be doing a lot there are bubbles but no foam yet but it did say will take 24hr to bed in

went and pick up some live rock today went to a place in wales (120 miles) the main reason is the lfs has very little and is very pricy 1kg@ £12 this cost me £8 a kg and there is much more life on it the place had massive tubs of all different types this is is fijian i even found a small shell fish on one peice dont know if it will live but lets hope hey
well i recon the real adventure starts now
