I foud the remains of a emerald crab 2 days ago . I thought sh@#^%, and did a 20% water change. No I did'nt test first,just figured calcium was low or somthing was off . As it turns out they schuck there shells also . Now the way I see it I am ahead of the water change game !!

well if you have an extra emerald I could use some for this bubble algea popping up in the 40 !!! a dead emerald wouldnt throw your levels off in a 90g
I had 2 large dead fish in the 40 and didnt even notice 1 of them for 2 days,... levels were good just high nitrates and no dead corals.
