lighting is a 14K ushio DE 250 w/ an icecap ballast and PFO reflecter
sump return is a Iwaki 40RLXT approx 1344gph
closed loop- GenX PCX70HP approx 1537 gph
sump is a converted 20 with one baffel at 6" high
it have an auto top off that is currently working fine
also i have a PM skimmer model CV626, rated for up to 125 gallons and a new mag 9.5(never used)

PFO pendant 100
ice cap Ballast 100
40 breeder 100
20 sump ????
misc plumbing 20-40
PBJ skimmer is a DYI and was probably about 30.

so i got $750+ into just the hardware. if you wanted i could also sell the cabinets it is currently sitting on.

I'm guessing you're selling the setup as a whole?

i would rather sell it whole. this setup can grow SPS, clams what ever you would want. the light and pumps are more than what you need for a 40, so if you ever wanted to upgrade to a bigger tank the 40 could become a fuge or the sump, and the pumps would handle a larger system.
the livestock, sand and live rock would all be included and i would take $700? if you wanted i could also get you some frags from my other tank.

hey Duane,
i started the 40 to grow montipora when i was having so much trouble with the 500. you remember the hair algae i had. anyway i'm having about as good a luck with monti's in the 40 as i do in the 500. it also seems to be "the straw that broke the camels back" when it comes to humidity in the house. i guess i'm just a one tank kind of guy and now that the 500 is looking good i really want to just focus on it.
we missed you at the meeting tonight. i hope the easter bunny brings you a reef tank for Easter

Wish I could have been at the meeting, that's probably the hardest part of being down here. Believe it or not I miss you all and the fun times we always had when we got together.

Sorry to hear you were never able to get monti's to grow, not sure why I was ever able to, you would think your systems would have outdone anything I ever had but sometimes it just takes pure luck, i guess.

As far as the Easter Bunny bringing me a tank, I can't wait to get another but I think the MASTER of the house would kill me if I got another right now
