Do you guys and gals know what would help the povona, other than all of the basics - water parameters, etc? Mine's still little.

just keep everything where is should be and one day you'll notice the stuff taking over. by everything i mean Magnesium, calcium, alkalinity and salinity.
also you can feed it. use tiny brine shrimp or mashed up food.
Awesome tank! You definitely need to think of this kind of construction before you build a house, lol.
Do you have any pictures of what's going on behind the scenes? I really like the ceiling to floor construction, oak right? If I remember correctly you are running some of your filtration through the crawl space. I really like the thought of doing that with a few closed system pumps.
Also, what are the dimensions of the tank? I'm guessing 80" wide X 30" tall X 36" deep? I sure didn't leave myself much room with 20" front to back.
Devon
hi Devon,
the dimensions ar 96 x 36 x 36. to deep really but i really didn't know at the time. yes, it's oak.... kind of dates the construction but at least it's not olive green or orange.
all of the filtration is in the crawl space now. 2 skimmers, 150 gallon fuge and the 150 gallon sump.
I checked Rob's setup this weekend and took a few pictures. Wow!![]()
Thanks for the tour Rob.
Great pics Devon!!!!! That is a rather nice system, huh???
