I can't really see what you are asking about, is there a chance you can get a better pic?

ok, just checkin, I'm in absolutley no hurry, I have to show my wife that I can do this so I can build a 24 inch cube, she says i have to do a nano cube first so I can prove I'm not going to dump a bunch of money into something I'm gonna mess up
You'll get it all under control. Just keep doing your research, and you are gonna be good to go!!!!!

I've been researching the heck out of all this, Nano-Reef.com - The source for nano reef aquarium information is a really good source of information. my local fish store however is not that great with information, they say I can fit 5 to 7 fish in my 14 gallon tank... correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought 3 would be pushing it

I have 3 in my 29G and that is max, as far as I'm concerned. That is from reading on this site and from general experience. They are small too: a yellowtail damsel, false percula clown and pygmy angel. There just isn't enough room for them to have their own territory and the bioload is too large for such a small tank. Just think of it in realistic terms, they are used to living in a big ocean with relatively huge expanses of places to hide, hunt for food, escape from predators, etc. Then you are going to take these creatures (some of them plucked straight from the ocean) and put them in a 14 gallon tank with 6 other roommates? How cruel is that? Don't listen to your LFS. Read, study and observe. Then you will do the right thing. Thank you for asking the question first. There are many fish that I would love to have but I just can't until I get a larger tank.

oh trust me, I had not ever even thought of putting that kind of stress on a fish. I knew almost for sure that the LFS was wrong, just wanted to put it out there to make darn sure. It horrifies me when I see on other sites people putting tangs in 14 gallon tanks, if i could I would put them in a box and see how they felt
Hi I from Billings montana, new to the site, I have a 80 gallon tank that has been going for two years. I'm looking to buy coarls for the tank. Right now i have two clowns an eel that is black and yellow not sure what kind he is but he minds his own business, and i have mushrooms, one of them is spiltting, have two tangs, and a few other small fish with about a hundred pounds of live rock. Just wondering if there is anyone else close to Billings
Thanks
Hey there,
I think all you have to do is look at the post above yours to find someone close to Billings. There is always the trip up here if you need some corals too.![]()
