Lol nice! I do plan on getting another anemone. I am thinking I should wait until I move though since the last one died because of a tank swap.

hello I live in missoula and was wondering if you guys all have saltwater or if there was anyone around with freshwater? just looking for some people in the hobby, theres not a big selection of fish here in town at least at any of the pet stores ive been to/ thanks jeremiah

I think most of us have saltwater tanks. Someone might have a freshwater tank as well but I dont know of anyone.

I only know of a few people with freshwater tanks here in Missoula. When I took down my last 170 I sold a lot of my plecos to a guy here in town. At one time I had 9 freshwater tanks but eventually went salt. In my freshwater tanks I kept a bunch of odd fish like L-Series Plecos, Fire Eels, an Arrowana, alligator gar, clown knife, ghost knife, loaches, various different catfish, etc. But, now most of the people I know have saltwater tanks. What do you have?

I have both...but by volume, the salt water is the winner.

Hey guys I have finally moved to Missoula from lolo. My tank is doing pretty good. I lost one fish and a few shrimp in the move but my new copper banded butterfly fish I got from dan made it and is doing awesome. He has done a great job at demolishing all my aptasia. I only saw one or 2 small ones hidden in the rocks when I moved them. I will try to get a few pictures a little later.

I would really like to make it to the next meeting but its been pretty hard without a reliable car. My wifes jetta was totaled so we are left with just the minivan which has been acting up. So it makes it hard to get up to the meetings. If anyone is ever in town and want to stop by feel free. However my tank is pretty unimpressive compared to everyone elses!

Tank looks really nice tehfeer. How many fish do you have in your tank? Mine is about the same size and when I mention putting more fish, I have 3, some people give me grief. Looks like I counted nine in your tank. Have you had any problem with nutrient build up or algae outbreaks?

Well how are your tank parameters? You should be able to tell if your tank can handle another fish.

Only think I haven't tested for is CA. Will pick up the test kit today from Kim. Everything else is good.
