Anyway doesn't matter now!unless you delete yours too.
Beautiful tank! How do you or did you treat the macro algae before putting it in the refugium/sump?
I don't think she has any macro yet. We were going to treat it with Flatworm Exit.

If you look at my 29 gallon, you can't see the skimmer at all except for the top that sticks above the tank. I chose not to put a background on this tank for lighting reasons but once I get loaded up on LR and corals, you won't even notice the skimmer.![]()
Nice setup Miss. Cynthia.![]()

Oh, forgot to add Corraline algae growing on the back glass will help too. might take awhile. Thanks. It's coming along nicely. Will move some more stuff over this weekend and post some more pix.
Hey Cynthia, I didn't notice when I dropped off the critters Tuesday, did you ever adjust the returns???

Indeed. Still haven't seen any moving crabs. What's with that?
The scarlets are nocturnal, they don't move about to much during the light hours.

Tanks,

Wow! Those are great pix. Thanks Charlie. The fox is plumping up on the sand bed and the hydno is doing it's thing in the back corner. I moved the turbo around like you suggested and he just cleaned things up very nicely. Still think I need one more though. Coming along.![]()
Yeah, they did turn out rather well, didn't they. I was pretty happy with them when I looked at them. I bet that poor turbo is tired of you picking him up and telling him where to go!!!!!!
Good news on the Fox!!!! Glad to hear that.
Have you thought of what you are going to do with that extra rock that you are gonna have? I may need some for my frag tank, if you wouldn't mind. Does the hydno have its polyps out?

No on hydno. Yes on frag rock.
It will get there, probably still acclimating.
Cool on the rock. When did you want some help with the Scroll coral?

Polyps out yes on hydno but no long feelers (or whatever you call them!).
Not sure about scroll. Will let you know. Might just move it in there on the rock. I'm not sure yet. Have 2 more turbo snails acclimating. Been moving my old turbo around and he's doing a great job but having some hair algae trying to take hold and need to get some hair eaters in there right away. Probably need to do another water change but will have to wait til later this week.
Actually the hair is probably still part of a cycle Cynthia, but you are doing the right things!!!

hey Cyn, that rock work ROCKS!!!!! very nice. i really love the way you put your live rock together. Nice job.
it won't be long now, you have the 80 out grown and you'll be looking for a bigger tank
have you thought about painting the back of the tank? or are you going to wait for it to grow over with corraline?
