That's right, Devon. c/o Raccoon Butterfly.![]()
The tank looks great Kevin. Your fish sure are photogenic aren't they?
You may be a reefer, if it seems like a good time on Friday night is watching 'Twister' on TV with pizza and beer for dinner, interspersed with acclimating and placing your Reeftopia order of crabs & snails in the aquariums.![]()
sounds like a personal problem![]()

Since I had my camera out, thought I'd add a few more views of things:
The Goniopora is hard to catch a glimpse of... (actually camera operator error)
But I finally did..see the little polyps inside? They were 1-2mm in diameter last week and have tripled in size & are more numerous. I'm feeding it 3X weekly.
My new BTA, thanks Devon, it seems to be happy where I've placed it (in a central canyon)
Last 2 are the 2 corals (Acrpora?) that have benefited from the increased photoperiod (thanks, Charlie) They have increasing in size well over 3-4 times in 3 months, the green one is becoming more uniformly colored.
Haven't posted about the tank for a while...It is fine, the corals are fine. Brandon took his tank down & I basically acquired everything for fish & coral. THey're all doing fine too!
Stopped in at Reef Missoula today. The Nemo Mobile is for real.
While I was there I picked up some new powerheads. Improving flow!
The 442 is almost done.![]()
Congrats on the 442 Kevin, I know it has been a work in progress, it really is looking good!!!
You did forget one thing tho...........................................a pic of the tank![]()

Well yeah Devon, just takes time (& $$$)...I had lotsa help, so I forced the process I guess. I think you have the engine kinda sideways btw
I did NOT forget, I just need to finish scraping to make it presentable. You won't believe some of the coral growth!Originally Posted by Charlie

for the whole process. I have been working longer at the aquarium, I will admit, but the car has been > 18 months now. The shine is beautiful.
I am soaking the Tunze pumps in RODI water for a couple of days & then will run them for a couple more in a tub with extra live rock, then I'll install them. That's when you'll see some pics (I hope)!
Well I finished the scrape-fest so I have new pictures.
The Tunze pumps work, but you gotta buy the stoopid cables to hook them to the controller (NOT !!! included!!!)They are still in the rock tub.
And another batch so Brandon can see the kids are all fine! Both corals & fishes!
Looking great!
