if you have the slightest interest let me know. since it was moving, i was able to remove the foot with little difficulty and i believe it is undamaged and will survive. however i know it will not survive in my driveway..........

I did see Kim and Donna looking at anemones in petco friday. If you can get a hold of one of them I bet they'd take it...

My green bubble tip was moving here last week and while trying to jump rocks I grabbed him and put him in the refuge. Made a room for a clam or two.![]()

I think you know the answer to that, the question is do you have enough power for it.

I've actually never built/compiled lights before. I've only bought turn key lights so to speak. What do you think it would cost to get into a finished product?
Since they would go on the fuge I would swap out electrical loads and I think I would be fine as far as "power" goes.

You know that light I have on my refugium??? You could get a reflector like that, I have some end caps, (sockets), you could have and voila, you have a light!! It isn't the Grande Hotel, but it would be effective!!

Well, Rob, what happened?
I would try to sell you my t-5 tek light but your fuge is too deep for it. A few of my friends have gotten a pretty cheap MH setup from and have had decent luck using them on their frag tanks. I purchased one and used it on my wife's old tank it seemed pretty decent. I mean a 250W MH for 169 is pretty damn good (comes with ballast and bulb) Metal Halide
Cant really beat the price but they do suggest you switch the bulb out. I can bring my 150W I bought from them if you want to check out the unit before you pick one up.
Damn, lost a bet on that one.

i was going to throw it out in the drive way but Julie was going to town so i decided to be nice and not KILL it........ it was a weak moment but rest assured i'll never own another anemone in a reef tank......
So I can blame Julie for this?;)
