Wow, I am gonna hate myself for saying this, but you are probably gonna laugh. I wish we had something like that up here.
I still have to make it down there Devon, I feel kinda bad that you all have a real LFS.
Yeah, I asked him to start ordering them and now he's got a few of each. I think he's trying to price his dry goods the same as Marine depot to be competitive. Dan's pretty good about ordering what ever you want. I also asked him to start carrying BRS in bulk, lol. I don't know if there will be much of a price difference on the BRS but I would rather buy it locally.
He also got in a few 28ish gallon nanos with HQI, stand and I think a small skimmer for round $425, they are pretty sweet! I think I would have saved myself a bit of money if I would have started with one of these setups and then really pondered what I eventually wanted for a system. I would actually think about getting one of these but my mom is giving her smaller JBJ nano to me this summer.
I love sushi! Is that strange?

I made the trip over to Dan's yesterday. My son had an appointment to tour the university so I made time to visit the shop. Very nice!!! I came home with a sand sifting starfish, boring, I know but it serves it's purpose and a red and white coco worm. Here are a few pix of his tanks:

Awesome man... Those are my fish from my tear down last week.(minus the fox faces, blue barb rabbitfish and the anthias) Dan is a friend of my family and was nice enough to hold them while i am out of town and in a bind. The 2 powder brown tangs were possibly showing signs of breeding when i moved them.
I honestly cant say enough good things about him and his shop. Its nice to have a quality LFS in town.![]()

Yeah, Its hard to put a face to an online name... I have prob met several people in there, and have no idea
Dont be sorry, Its a blessing that Dan could hold my fish and i will be starting another tank when i get back. Just had terrible timing selling the house, and leaving town in the same week. Made for some long nights and lots of heavy hauling.
He actually just called earlier and said that my Tennent tang has an open wound, and he was worried about it... He was going to move it to its own tank and keep an eye on it. Dan is awesome! The fact he would take time to call really shows he cares...
Hopefully see you in there again sometime![]()
Well, it seems to be the week that alot of folks came down to see you Dan
It was a pleasure meeting you and taking in your store. The clam and the chalice are doing nicely, both are really nice finds. I will try to get some pics of both up on here tomorrow or Sunday. Anyways, I would like to add to Cynthia's pics if I may![]()
