OMG a LFS in missoula!

For all you people in missoula Dan just opened up his shop. Its called reef missoula its located in the parking lot of the Montana club on brooks. He is in the basement. He has not relocated his coral just yet but has plenty of fish right now! I stopped by to pickup some salt and peppermint shrimp its looking pretty good. His prices are really decent. He had a huge yellow tang that was really tempting but I am getting ready to move so I forced myself to hold off

For sure I will try to figure out the address and I have a business card at home. I am pretty excited it will be nice to be able to buy a fish without paying 50$ shipping!

I will let you guys know when he gets his coral tank moved over. He said he still has about 400gal to move Dan is a nice guy and has no problem special ordering stuff for people.

Thats cool, I or Jenn are in Missoula every other Friday,picking up or dropping off kids.
So I guess that could make us the middle man. Find out his store hours too if you can

I spoke with Dan on Thursday and he thought he would be moving his coral tanks this weekend. It's funny, Dan has been having quite a few people come into his store that have established saltwater tanks. It sounds like there are quite a few of them in Missoula. Does our club have a poster? Something to post in his store to promote us?

I've been trying to get him on the forum and I assume he will eventually. He's just kind of busy with moving.

I was down at ReefMissoula last night for a new shipment. Dan had also transfered some of his corals down. I'm a new owner of a red/yellow sea cuc, Dolabella sea hare and another odd colored feather duster. Pics to come.

Are the cuc and sea hare reef safe Devon?

Well I've had one of each in the past and they seem to do fine.

I was just wondering, what happens if they die, do they release toxins into the system?

Well I've lost one large Dolabella Sea Hare in a Vortech while I was gone. I'm sure he inked but everything was fine. I am watching the interaction between him and the anglerfish right now. And the cuc is pretty low maintenance, just filter feeds.
