Looks to be some type of sponge Kim, Unless it starts munching on something, I would leave it be.

I'm wondering about the spongy fleshy looking thing on the left, under the ricordea that's got a small opening in it. There's another one on the other side. They came on the rock the ricordea were attached to, and have been in there for months without causing any problems. I'm just curious what they are. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Kind of looks like a white sea squirt or tunicate. Does it look spongy or like a heart?
I love sushi! Is that strange?

More like a heart - the surface is smoother than what I would expect on a sponge (I've got some of those too), and as I understand, sponges don't survive well out of water at all. I've had this rock out of the water several times for several minutes at a time. One time, I happened to graze it with something sharp and it squirted water - so maybe a sea squirt. It's been in there for a long time and hasn't caused any problems. I'll have to read up on them. I'll post back if it ever does something besides just sit there.
Yeah most likely a sea squirt. They just filter feed. There are some really cool ones out there. I believe liveaquara has a few for sale on their invert page of the diver's den.
