I feel the same way as Devon about using the washing soda. I have talked to Rob about how to use it but still not real comfortable with it. So Rob maybe you can go over that again for everyone at the meeting.
Kim, we have 20 days to discuss this. I am in favor of some Papa Murphy s take and bake pizzas. I think 4 PM is also a good time because that gives the out of town folks time, if we wanted to do this earlier, that is good too. We will need your addy and some directions and parking instructions!!!!
Did I seem excited?? Gee, I didn't think it showed:eek3::eek3::eek3:

In just this short time, here is what we got so far. Kim is going to do some BBQ chicken for us, and if we could have everyone else chip in with some side dishes and deserts, I think we could have ourselves a good ol time. Kim has also offered to set up a small frag tank for us if we want to do some frag swapping, I know that I have a couple I could let go of, it is about haircut time again for the pink birdsnest.
Tentative starting time is going to be 4PM, but I think there is some leeway if we wanted to start earlier.

Meeting time has been moved to 3PM. I am going to let Kim go ahead and post her address and directions here.
We still need a little feedback on the frag swap thing folks.

My question would be... Has anyone got anything new to frag that we didn't get from someone else in the club already? We should almost have a list of frag availability then see who would like what. No reason to spend time fragging a hydno if everyone already has one. Has anyone lost any "club corals" that they would like help replacing? Something that we all probably have, it just depends on if someone has one ready to frag.
I've only lost a few mushrooms to one of the hydnos lately. Oh and one of the heads on my hammer.![]()
I love sushi! Is that strange?

Ok, here's how to get to my place for those of you who don't know where I live - which is . . .probably everybody! Take Hwy 35 out of Kalispell, (for those unfamiliar, it's the KMart intersection) and just past the Flathead River bridge, take the first left onto Panoramic Drive, then turn into Swan Ridge Court. We're number 137 on the left. You can park in the driveway until it's full, then park in the cul de sac. I'm flexible on the time, thinking I would shoot for 4:00, but if you want to come over a little earlier, that's fine with me. I'm going to cook BBQ chicken with a Meditteranean paste rub, and I decided to throw in an Olive Garden pasta. I'm looking for some side dishes, dessert, and whatever else you might want to contribute, so chime in with what you want to bring.
I will set up a frag holding tank if there are a number of things to trade, but maybe everybody already has everything they want from each other:
I will also have a 10g QT running, so if there are only a couple of frags, we can just float them in there and not worry about a separate container. I planned on contributing an orange plating coral, if anyone's interested. It originally came from Tim Leahy, so you might already have some if you were trading with him.
Well, I'm looking forward to this - should be a great time. Word up, just plan on wearing some nice, non-embarrassing socks - unless you really want to show off your Scooby Doo stuff - shoes off at the door!![]()
Thanks Kim for posting those, later on when the time gets closer, can I get your phone number ? I will email it to everybody so if they get misplaced they can give you a jingle.
Devon, I will get a list of what is available from my tank along with some pics this weekend. Will that do?

Charlie - I will PM you my phone number. Oh, and I forgot there's a new road before Panoramic, so take the second left. If you're headed for Hoopers, you went too far.
That is Ok Kim, you know where to find me.![]()

sounds like a good start for a meeting.... a place, Thanks Kim, and a topic. i have ski lessons on Saturday until 4 so i'll be late but that's normal for me. i'm happy to talk about 6:1 and how i use it.
see you there,
rob
Cross country or downhill?
I thought maybe the lessons were for you! Have a good time, and we'll see you when you get there.
I'll put the date on my calendar. I would like to come up with an agenda, not to hold you to it but just so we don't get carried away and wind up not having the discussion. Everyone, please post ideas for discussions and I will add to the "agenda" (as your club secretary). ;;
I'm fresh out of frags except for mushrooms. I took everything to the last meeting. I would love to hear what everyone has available. Maybe some people have "special" coral frags that they will sell for cheap.
You should post those too. I'm very interested since I missed out on the frag "getting" last time. I'm having a frag withdrawal right about now.
Thanks Kim for offering to host.

I thought the duscussion was going to be on what everyone adds to their tank, centering mainly on alkalinity and ph, but then again, the old fart may have missed smething on the last page![]()

It has to be my job too. we didn't have a scretary fr so long that I just got used to it. Plus we have never been organized enuf before to even have an agenda. I can't hardly speel the damn word myself. I guess that means I don't have to do anything besides sit back and drink beer then huh. Heck, I should just let you run the meeting.
