A meeting in Feb. sounds great...what are you thinking about?
I just sent an e-mail out regarding a meeting in February, and thought I would put a thread up also, so in case you don't get an e-mail, you might see it here. I would like to get some feedback as to what we would talk about and when and where we want to have a meeting.
That being said, I have some questions myself, so I look forward to getting some feedback here.

OK...gotta think about it some, will get back. THanks for starting the idea going tho!
i'm up for a meeting. i don't really think my place is the right place for a meeting this time of year.... maybe after the snow melts. i'll be following along to see if anybody wants to host.
You know me, I am always a glutton to host a meeting, we will see what anybody else comes up with Rob.

My driveway is longer than Rob's, but the 3/4 mile up hill is a steep bob-sled run of packed snow/ice right now, so summer would be better here. We want to host a meeting here once it's warm outside....cooke out and all.
Well hey, do you folks just want me to say come on up and we will figure something out when you get here? You know damn well my BBQ works.

I've written this reply three times now, each time getting shorter and shorter as I keep trying to install the spell checker add-on. Count me in toward the end of this month.
Depending on who replies to this post will determine some of the possible topic areas we could cover. I'm interested to see what types of additives we are all using, beginner to advanced. Over the past few years my additives have changed drastically. Anyway, Count me in.
I love sushi! Is that strange?

Devon, that would indeed be a good topic, because I know for a fact that there is alot of different methods being used.

great topic!!!!!! i have been wanting to change what i'm doing but have some concerns and i would love to discuss them.
Charlie- do you ever sleep? or is your back giving you trouble????
Devon-great idea! I have changed what I'm doing several times for the short time I've had this aquarium, so yes, it would be good to see what everybody is doing, how it works, pitfalls. nice.
I've been using BulkReefSupply lately but am unable to keep things constant. Kalk drips kind of interest me... I look back to when I was dumping tons of additives ($) into my tank and not reaching the desired outcome. We could possibly save some people a little $ and maybe develop a cheat sheet for maintaining good water quality. I'm interested in what to do for different water scenarios. I know I've had a few times where I wanted to raise my pH but not increase my Alkalinity dramatically. Still haven't found washing soda and don't know that I would feel comfortable using it unless someone showed me...

A meeting at the end of February would work for me. Excellent topic idea. I'm always interested in what other people use, their method, and if it worked for them. I've got a smaller tank, so I use Bulk Reef Suppy too, and I'm constantly having to tinker with the amount, and found that I can't correct an imbalance with it - I've got other stuff for that. I've certainly changed what I use many times, and how I use it, both from the changing growth of my corals, to trying something new as my knowledge increases. Sounds like Charlie's offering ;;, but if no one else wants to host the meeting, I would be willing to have it at my house - no 4x4's required, and there's enough parking. Lemme know!

Were In for the meeting. Tell us what need to bring.![]()
Ok, then! You sure jumped on that right away, Charlie!Does everyone want to have a dinner meeting, or would you prefer snacks and drinks? Yup, I can BBQ too, or do something like pizza for dinner. I was thinking I would have everything ready and people could come over by, say 4:00 or so.
