I guess the thing I got out of the "additives" discussion on Saturday is that there are folks that do enough in the way of water changes, that maybe adding 'stuff' is not needed, depending upon the kinds, number & size of corals in the tank. What a concept...
Also reinforced, the idea that not testing for various parameters (Ca, Alk, SpGr, pH, Mg, wastes, etc, etc) does not equate to 'ignorance is bliss'...you might need to do something...also animal & invertebrate health are important to watch (not enuff or too much of those good things). Ya don't know if ya don't look.
I like the idea of feeding the water (maintain levels) to feed the fish/corals. guess I'd better run some tests tonight...![]()
