May Meeting

Of all the unbelievable things, we even made a date for the next meeting yesterday!!!!!! Rob and Julie have decided to open up their house to all of us on May 8th, a Saturday, at probably about 5PM. We already have a menu item for dinner also, tacos, something everybody can dig into and get hands on with.

Now that we have a place and a time, we need some help deciding on a topic for discussion, so come on folks, help us out here.

We know one thing for sure, I don't think Vaughn will be sampling the chip dip again

i think that Charlie could be on the next Top Chef show . It was a really nice dip ,had great texture and full flavored. with just a touch of garlic. goes great on chip and maybe even a Ritz cracker. Burp!!!!!!!!

Since we have had a ton of responses here(?????????????????), I have other news. The meeting Date has been changed to the 1st of May, same time, same place. Julie is still gonna make tacos, so that is good news. Hope you all read this:eek3::eek3::eek3:

bring the kids and dogs, there is plenty of room for them to roam. we also have a fire pit if the weather is a bit cool and they want to be outside.

Julie suggested that people could bring desserts if they want. she is planning on tacos as mentioned. What about drinks? daiquiris, margaritas or ???? other suggestions? chips and dip is always a good idea.

I have only had one reply to the e-mail I sent last week, so I don't have any idea as to how many people are gonna show.

No idea on the topic either, think of something profound and surprise us

My brain is too tired to think of topics for discussion. It's been a long week! Oompa loompa doompity doo!
I'll see what I can come up with to bring to go with tacos. I think there will just be one in my party.

Wish I could make this meeting to hang out with you guys, but I'll be packing and taking down my tank.
Couple things I've been wondering lately are:
1: sump design, setup, and flow rate (especially for those with refugiums in their sump)
2: since we all have lots of the same exact coral, you guys could touch on coral growth and color in relation to placement (flow, distance from light, what kind of light, and even change in growth/color with aged bulbs)
A bit pretentious to come up with topics for a meeting I won't even be at, I know, but just thought I'd toss those ideas out there.

Our fearless leader is sick..... maybe i should say ill (we all know he is sick ) the poor bed ridden fellow is not going to make it up for the meeting. with this news, i asked myself what is a "Montana Reef Club" meeting without Charlie? kind of like not having him as our President......

should we cancel or reschedule this meeting????????
