Hey All,

New to the forum, don't really fit anywhere else, so thought I would post here. Northwestern Montana is a bit far from me, but closer than the other areas - certainly have traveled through a time or two. No active local reef club in my area, nor have I found any anywhere close - you all don't happen to know if the Billings area has a reef club do you? That would be a whole lot closer. I'm actually in Northern Wyoming. Working on an all in one 20L tank for a Mantis and some acans, maybe a few zoas. Thanks

Good to have you! Coral connection is the only fish store that I know of in that direction. One of my friends here in Missoula has a Mantis tank, it's pretty cool. Hopefully you don't have a glass tank!

Thanks Devon. I been to the Coral Connection a few times, I actually prefer the Heights Pet Center, which is in the same neighborhood. I do have a glass tank, but was considering placing a piece of acrylic on the bottom under the sandbed just in case.

My friends 5-6" peacock mantis shrimp comes up to the front of the tank and pops it as if telling you he's ready to be fed. He grabs his food, runs behind a rock, then comes out to show you his meal. It's a pretty cool creature!

I've seen some pictures of the Peacocks, they are pretty cool - but pretty expensive. Mine is simply the common rusty red florida variety that came as a hitch-hicker on my LR.
