But ... UH.... Which tank do I log?!?!?! [REQUEST]

Seriously, I have two tanks running right now, and I have two more in the works..... Are there any plans to make this log configurable for more than one tank? I for one would really like to see that feature... or if it is already there, lol..... could someone point out the how and where of it? It seems that having a multiple log could be of benefit to people with only one tank also, in the instance where someone breaks down their tank, and or replaces it with a new/bigger/better/different system..... Then they wouldn't have to delete their old info, but could log the new system separately..... And even compare the stats between the tanks. ..... Just a thought... The log is a totally kewl idea tho, Thanks!

Hi Sueet,

Thanks for your feedback!

Making a log for multiple tanks was out of the scope of the initial development phase but has been discussed for inclusion in a future version. When it is included you will have the ability to enter multiple tanks, not just 2.

I like this idea. Thanks for putting the time in. I just finished Saturday upgrading to a 100g so I'll log it in here. Currently I'm using ReefCon2000. But I'll try this out as well.
Perfect timing!

I have no idea what ReefCon2000 looks like but I hope you enjoy using our online log. Perhaps since you have experience with some other software, you can provide us some feedback and give us some feature suggestions.

It was painless. I thought that maybe adding a text input box if a selection is not listed might be nice - instead of having to use "other".
Now adding fish is a bit difficult because I want to add fish that I've had for who knows how long! So I have to look it up in the ReefCon database then retype the info over.
ReefCon does export to a *.csv format so perhaps there is a way to upload it & have it all done. But that's the problem with databases either they are compatible or they are not. If not then you have to re-type a lot of info.
Great job though - I'd give it a 9 for easy of use but a 6 for compatibility (all you got now is copy & paste).

I'm not sure I understand what your saying. Your saying that perhaps there should be a way to transfer data from ReefCon or another program directly to our Aquarium Log? Take the .csv from ReefCon and provide an upload link to place it into Reefland's Aquarium Log?

Just want to make sure I understand you correctly.

That's interesting and something I never considered; I guess before that would be of any assistance people that use ReefCon would have to think our log is better before they would consider transfering data to it.
