    Item request/location [ADDED]

Im not sure if this has been asked and I didn't know how to look it up, but is there a place where I can enter arbitrary data on things that I have done to the tank.

For example, on some mornings I add B-Ionic to my tank. Where can I enter that data? Another example, I changed my substrate 2 weeks ago where can I enter things like that?

    THanks.

Right now there is not a place to enter things like that. However I do plan to add a general "diary" section to the log in the very near future just for things like this. General observations and notes would be placed in the new "diary" section. Is this what you have in mind?

    Thanks for the feedback!

That's my exact idea pretty much. Also, maybe have an export option so that we could also keep a history on our system should we need to and don't have net access. Also, I never seem to have any of the water parameter test kits you have available to choose from in the log...is that a hint to the quality of other test kits?

I have added a diary section to the log that allows you to enter any type of general text or observations that you wish. I still need to add it so it is viewable when looking at users public logs but that will have to come another night.

Maybe you should have a section that will NOT be viewable by the public for the aquarists personal notes/observations... info that they don't want to be public

I haven't thought or planned to make any particular section of the log private, it's all or none right now. Something to consider for the future though.

Great thanks. Being a new aquarist, I can't think of anything that I would need to keep private after I've made my log public, but it sounds like a good idea. Great job you're doing with the site Scott.

This is now totally complete. Diray entries are available for viewing on users public logs.
