salinity reading

Maybe im doing it wrong but if you enter 1.023 the log only reports 1.0. The log seems to round the .023 down to zero. Has done this everytime i do a reading

Hi Brian and thanks for the feedback!

The reason is that you are putting in a measurement for Specific Gravity and not Salinity. Specific Gravity is measured to the thousandth and Salinity is meansured in whole numbers. You should go back and edit your test to reflect test type Specific Gravity for accuracy.
