logging in test results

HI scott ,
when I log in my salinity test I put in1.024 then it put it down as 1.02 am I doing something wrong?

Salinity is typically measured in ppt (parts per thousand) and therefore only in whole numbers, at the most 2 decimals for a reading of like 35.25ppt. What you are actually measuring in is Specific Gravity with is ppm (parts per million) and measured typically with 3 decimals for a reading like 1.024ppm. Make sure you have Specfic Gravity as a testing option and when measuring choose this as your test type and it will display correctly.
