Any Ideas on Improvement

For these pictures? These were taken with AF, 2 with flash and 2 without.

I am more partial to close-up with flowers. Try WITHOUT flash, get close and use a very small apeture. Like 2.0, or whatever the smallest number you have is. That will blur out the background and make your subject POP away from the clutter. Also a little PS work can really richen the color. This is closer to the way those flowers look around here. Also remember the focal point of the picture isn't always the MIDDLE! I cropped, sharpened and played with the saturation here... I like it, but do you?
