Rome wasn't built in a day---neither is a reef

Love that Achilles, Charlie, the colors on them are unbelievable.
Here's my S.virgatus showing his maturing colorations. He sure grew some since I bought him, I'd estimate him at about 3.5" now. When I got him he was all of 1-1.5" long. Has but one enemy in the tank-my bristletoothed tang of all things.![]()

Kind regards,

Nice pic Charlie! Try and get the camera down more next time, that way you get a better perspective.
Gene, that second picture shows some crazy glitter lines on the fish! COOL!
To be totally honest, I was taking a pic of the hammer, and he wanted in on the fun. I wish my bicolor angel was that photogenic!!!Originally Posted by Poseidon

Scott, I have never seen 3 tangs be as photogenic as mine, or as friendly. I don't know how many pics that I have deleted because they get in the way![]()

That must be a Tang thing! My yellow and naso both did the same thing!

I don't remember exact day( need to look it up) but it is just over a year, I think. I believe mine is from Indonesia, judging by the colors. There is another relative of this fish with much more yellow on them and lots of scribly lines but they come from diffeent location and simply not available here. Any time I've seen this fish they all have the same coloration.![]()
I too have a tang that always gets in the way when i try to take pictures of corals and stuff.![]()

Gene.

Sometimes I find it easier to take pictures of things that do not move. Ok. Ok. All the Time. I must have tried to take at least 20 pics just to get this one of my 6 line. Picture of my car was easier Maybe because it was parked... Sunset at the new house. Makes life a lot easier when every thing moves slower.
