$300-$400 - I need a good everyday, plus one that I can take decent pics of my tank with the magnifying glass. Knew you were the one to ask. I looked at the spec sheets but to be honest it really is "greek" to me. Ask me medical questions I can probably answer but when it comes to cameras and computers I dont have a clue!! LOL!!

We got a Nikon 5400 for not much more than that. Probably a bit cheaper now and we are really happy with it! Mike can give some better guidance though.

    How about this one?

    Fujifilm FinePix S5200 Zoom

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search

It has Macro down to 1cm and it is SLR like, with a viewfinder. It should do GREAT on tank photography, the ISO goes all the way to 1600, and Fuji is VERY good for point and shoots at higher ISO settings, it also has Apeture and Shutter priority modes. I have done LOTS of business with B&H, so you can trust them as far as price and service go.
