You know, I had no problem with focusing speed of that tamron lens, it is quite fast and accurate. Noise is totally another matter however. You learn to live with it after a while, though, and if you are not professional photographer spending money on lenses is hard to justify if you not wealthy by default... And if you consider that you are involved in a reefkeeping hobby, and most people think you are crazy already, L lenses are hard to come by. ![]()
