Yup that is a good one... I prefer to resize last though, just in case I want to have one printed.

Ok, Looks like I might give it a try. I have been kind of dinking and dunking around with it before I found that. It sure is fun to work with, and you can definitly improve some defects, that's for sure!!!
Thanx again Mike. ![]() |

Here's some of my first efforts. Hope I didn't screw them up too bad. I still have the originals, just in case.

Thanx Mike. I need to ask a question tho. Is there a digital slr and a macro lens out there that is around $1100-1200 price range.

Let me see what I can come up with... I'll bet we can find a Rebel and a nice lens for that range. DO you have any compact flash cards already?

It is the 100mm f2.8 macro from Canon. Don't worry about me, I brought the laptop to bed! Wireless internet is WAY COOL!
I could only take so much TV, I had to do something... |

That's what I thought Mike, I know you and Gene have been discussing that particular lens.
What is the white balance adjustment like on the 10D. Have you ever used the Nikon 50D? |

That would be D50, Nikon puts letter D in front of the numbers and Canon puts it behind, like 1D or 300D and such. That 100mm macro lens from Canon is the best lens out there. My 105mm Sigma is not bad but not even close to being as sharp as that Canon's masterpiece. You know, I have this Rebel(300D) laying around doing nothing that I can sell to you. All you;ll need is to add that 100mm f2.8 Macro lens and you are in business. ![]()

That is basically a 10D Charlie, it is just plastic instead of Mg alloy. Plus if it is coming from Gene, I am sure it will be perfect!!!
Only thing you will need to add is the compact flash card. |

SOLD! Oh wait... I wasn't bidding.
![]() Charlie, in all honesty when buying a DSLR the MOST important thing to spend money on is the glass. Lenses will always work with the next body, (well almost always) and they hold their value way better then the camera body does. I am on my 2nd DSLR body, I'll have my 3rd by the end of Feb, (waiting on uncle Sam's check) and the one constant has been a dramatic decrease in resale value on the bodies, as new ones come out. For the average user a 6.3 MP camera is WAY more the enough. I think you will really like the DRebel! I know I loved my 10D, until I got the 20D, and now I chomping at the bit to get my 1D... I hope that 1D keeps me happy for more then a year! |

In addition to the better auto focus, the 1D offers: More SPEED Better battery life Weather sealing Better build quality Better White Balance Better Auto Exposure Built in vertical grip oh and can't forget the COOL factor... This beast is the DSLR to have, the only thing in the same league is the 1Ds, and that is nearly 8K!!! |
