I don't always take all my lenses with me when I take off like that Gene, I figured just in case I ran into something that needed a macro shot, I might be covered.
Don't worry, I still have that 100mm, one of these days I will get to use it on my 300 again. |

Nope... Funny you bring this up though, as I was just thinking of getting the 580! I actually am using the 420, or I should say Stacey is. Once I bought the 24-105, I also bought a second flash bracket, and cord, and now Stacey and I both take pictures at the weddings we cover. I was thinking of adding the 580 this year to my camera, and putting the 550 on her camera. Weight does become an issue for her though, and the 420/430 is certainly lighter then the 550.
