Did anyone else try their luck at fireworks shows? I am still going thru mine, I had experimented with shutter speeds from 2.5 seconds to 30 seconds, but this one is a favorite so far.

I had an apportunity to view fireworks from the balcony of my condo but my camera was at the different house, so I missed my chance to try shooting fireworks.![]()

Thanks guys! I was going thru the rest last night, I have about 3-4 REALLY cool shots that I will post later.
I would have posted tehm last night, but my Mom-in-Law came over, then her tire went FLAT! It took me 2 hours to change the DARN thing OFF! I have never seen a rim so rusted to the brake rotor. I had to use a dremel to loosen the rust, then an 8 POUND sledge to get the rim off! I'm still sore!
Here are a few more! Someone else has to have some fireworks pictures, let's see them!

Thanks Charlie! Actually those were pretty easy to do, just set the camera on M for manual, then set the ISO to 100, the aperture to 22, and experiment with the shutter speed. I think I like the 13-15 second exposures best. The most critical piece of equipment is the TRIPOD! No way anyone can hold a camera still for that long without moving.
