Very nice! Who's the pianist? (someone famous/historical?)
BTW, someone stole the arms off of that!

Thanks! I have no idea who the pianist is but I loved that sculpture. Whoever did the sculpture is a genious in my book.

Mike, I took this shot in my friends condo that we stay in on this vacation. They had some very interesting art pieces, scuptures and canvases.

Anyhow, check out this shot I took from the 26th floor and note those long shadows from the huge buildings on the beach.

The view of the coast...

In the foreground is the nearly completed building by Donald Trump(he's got lots of them there).

Mike,

We were in Sunny Isles, Florida. It;s basically Miami..

Friends of ours have couple of condos there but sold one while we were there and kept this three bedroom one. Really spectacular place with spectacular vistas. We didn;t venture out much except for going out to eat and such. It seemed to me like anybody who is anybody have a place there. My friend bought this condo from Ty Law, I don't have to tell you who he is... So you get the idea. It was fun but I get tired of looking at the upper crust real fast, if you know what I mean.

When I see that shot of the skyscrapers right up against the surf (or at least it seems that way) three words come to mind- coastal erosion and hurricanes! I'd love to see a picture from that same longitude and latitude in 50 years.
But the pictures are really cool!

Carl,

From what I was told the beach is totally newly man made "land". If you were on Collins avenue some 20 years ago there were no skyscrapers of any kind there and look how things changed...

As Mike already pointed out, the sun worshipers do the chimichanga between the shadows and sun, depending on the time of day... It was funny to watch in person and arguments between the residents of different buildings for space were hilarious.
