Looks great to me! I bet Gene and Mike could do some great post-procesing on those.

After about 2 minutes in CS2...
Here is a list of things I did: Auto Contrast I smashed the blacks in Levels (moved in the left slider) Unsharp Mask, 300%, .3 pixel, 0 threshhold Another small level tweak Highlight recovery, 25% Sized for web Save Ideally you would want images you upload to be around 80-120Kb, that way they look nice on screen, and load much faster. Here is my finished product: |

Wow, Mike! That's really something- thanks! Since I'm really uninformed about photoshopping, just what exactly is "CS2" ? It's a computer program, I know that much, but otherwise, I'm very new at this.

Is that closer to what you see in your tank? It is kinda hard sometimes, because I don't want to alter the coral into something it is not...
Anyway, CS2 is the latest version of Photoshop. If you are a student K-College, or you are the parent of a student, you can get a copy legit copy for $180 or so. If you don't have that student option, then the program is CRAZY expensive @ $599 or something like that! I really enjoy CS2, there is nothing that you can't do, you just have to figure out how to do it. BTW CS3 is coming out in the spring, I have a "beta" version now. (I haven't had time to evaluate it much though...) |

Here is one more, I also cropped this one, so you could see what a HUGE difference a crop can make, I didn't really enlarge the subject much either, I just took out the extra space....
Basically this the same work flow, but I did add color saturation this time, +12 I think.... I just add it by eye. Oh ya, and I framed it for you. ![]() |

I'd say the processed hammer pic is very close to what I see in the tank- and the rabbitfish looks so cool! I'll have to poke around for a copy of something... is Quark express a photoshop program? I ask because my dad used to work for quark and (literally) created the thing- I think he's got a copy he could send me.

Glad you liked them, as for Quark I am not sure what that is...
