Digital frames

Hey Mike,

I spent this morning fooling around in CS2, trying to make a digital frame and working on some techniques with the help of Scott Kelby's book.
What do you think of this frame I came up with? I mean the colors are optional and could be anything, but I am talking in general about design and dimentions. I just chose my granddaughter picture for sample because I was working on some focus issues and tone of the skin and stuff.

Re: Digital frames

Me likes, but I think I'd make the frame a tab bit thicker, which will give you the chance to put a bevel on it, so it has some depth to it, like this, hope it's ok I used your picture. This was just a quick thing. It could look better with a little time.

Thanks Tray!

Your version is not bad but I really don't like the heavy frames, I have FM frames that has this beveled heavier frame option and I never really use it.
The reason I chose one that I did is because of the entire canvas becomes part of the frame and heavy-er frame just seems errr... too heavy?
I hope I'm making sense but not sure about that, working for more than two hours in PS usually renders me incoherent with expression like "Doh?"

Re: Digital frames

lol, Yeah that made sense to me, but being incoherent myself, maybe, we can understand each other, and noone else can. lol. Actually I hate using photoshop, I'm a CAD guy, so so I'm used to lines and circles, not dots. lol. Anyways Good luck with the frame making.
