OK, how about we start a new thread where we post our close up or macro shots? Anybody game for that?

I'll start with a couple and I hope that you guys and gals will follow with your beautiful shots as well.

It seem that no one else is taking pictures around here but us two...

Well, we know Mike is takin pics, but I don't know how many close up wedding pics I could handle.

Great shots Gene, I should have spent more time at Kevin's house taking pics. I am sure there will be more chances tho. I cannot wait until I can get another sps tank going!!!!!!

Oh, and Charlie, you are right sometimes close up wedding pictures are NOT a good thing at all!

yeah its cool watching them on the front glass, i got a magnifying glass out the other day to get real close and i could see the "hairs" on its toung was very cool.

Mike, I hope you are alright and nothing serious is ailing you... Did you guys got plastered with snow this past couple of days? All we had was rain but man, some states got really nasty, and deadly twisters...

I wish Kevin visited this thread, I have a coral or two for him to practice his identification skills...

Like this one for example, I spent an hour going through my Veron's book to find nothing remotely similar...

I hope it still qualifies as a close up.

That sure is a sharp shot, and you are right about that being an Un-Id'd coral, I haven't seen that coral either.
