This is the camera i ordered its a pretty good deal i think, $705 for camera with lens + tripod + bag + 2 mem cards
should have it buy mid next week.

Congrats on your new camera, James!
Don't worry about the kit lens too much, it has its place in the bag, like I said in the other thread. Save some money and get a 100mm macro lens, I think I saw one on ebay the other day for under $400. I didn;t buy it because it was an older version but you can find a deal on them now and again, I think.

I have the exact same camera! It's really cool, I have yet to learn how to use it properly but that will come in time...

i had one once in a small 10gal tank when i first started keepin fish, he didnt eat once and died after about 4 weeks, poor little fella i didnt have a clue what i was doing back then, he didnt stand a chance.

im sellin my current camera and using the cash from that to get a canon 60mm macro and some ex tubes.
im excited like a kid at christmas!! lol

This camera is WAY better than my coolpics the AF on this thing is so much quicker.
