Got a new camera!

This is the camera i ordered its a pretty good deal i think, $705 for camera with lens + tripod + bag + 2 mem cards
should have it buy mid next week.

Congrats on your new camera, James!
Don't worry about the kit lens too much, it has its place in the bag, like I said in the other thread. Save some money and get a 100mm macro lens, I think I saw one on ebay the other day for under $400. I didn;t buy it because it was an older version but you can find a deal on them now and again, I think.
Make sure to snap a few shots and post them when you get your camera.

I have the exact same camera! It's really cool, I have yet to learn how to use it properly but that will come in time...

from what i have read its a realy good camera for the price.

i had one once in a small 10gal tank when i first started keepin fish, he didnt eat once and died after about 4 weeks, poor little fella i didnt have a clue what i was doing back then, he didnt stand a chance.

its gonna get here this tuesday, so a little later than planned but hey what ya gonna do.
im sellin my current camera and using the cash from that to get a canon 60mm macro and some ex tubes.
im excited like a kid at christmas!! lol

Hooray, its here and I’ve got some pics for you allJ.
This camera is WAY better than my coolpics the AF on this thing is so much quicker.

Oh i also went to my LFS and got my very first LPS coral today its a Florescent lime green trumpet coral, i think
