not bad, i did electronics at college.
that looks awsome, makes the 18-55mm very usefull.

Well there you go then! It looks like a simple mod to me, and if you can get the Kenko tubes to work for you, then all the better!

Wowser.., that's too many things to fiddle with to make one size tube work..
 At least to me it is too much work and waaaay to small a things to see, even with glasses on.  Good luck James!  I just ordered a 58mm(filter size) 250D diopter for my 85mm lens, it was cheap enough for me to give it a try and I will post results as soon as I am able to get few shots with this combo.
