im looking to get a camera for myself and was just wondering what anyone would recommend. Ive been taking photo classes at school and have been using cameras such as the pentax, and minolta film cameras(some new and some old). So if anyone has any suggestions on a camera that would of course be film not digital and would fit a budget of someone still in highschool

Pentax K1000, built like a tank! You will have to look for a used one though, I don't think they are still being produced.

Also you can look for the Canon AE-1, or the Minolta X-700, I have used both, and they are good cameras too! (Also no longer in production though.)
