Few OT pictures from this weekend

I went to the Colonial Park (I posted images from there before) yesterday. It was a lovely day for an outing and I simply couldn't say no to my granddaughter...

All shots were taken with the 17-40mm f4 L lens and my 350D. The geese and ducks were fed by my granddaughter and I'm not sure who had more fun out of it.

The birds were so timid you could literally pet them. They came so close to my little girl I thought they would take food from her hand but they changed their mind and reserved to picking up from the ground... Here are few more shots to show you what I mean.

PS. I'm adding one more image to show what attitude my granddaughter had basically to the entire experience... She even asked one of the geese if it was alright after she saw it stumble...

Well, I try not to spoil her too much ( not in front of her mom anyway ) but I rarely can muscle out a "No!" reply to any of her requests.
As far as her first reef goes, for now she has a 2.5g betta tank that my son gave her and she is learning to take care of that.
I've been planing to set up a pico reef for her when she starts first grade, so we'll see how that goes. We still got time as she'll be only 5 at the end of May.
