Re: It was a good road trip
Thanx Gene, I have never owned the Ocellaris species before, and those 2 are just way to cute, I couldn't resist. I actually put them in my 80. They haven't even looked at either of the RBTA. I haven't had a chance to really watch them and see where they are spending the nite, probably in the hammer

Re: It was a good road trip
Thanks Charlie! I hope that Copperband does well for you!
It looks like you did have a nice trip out there, with those angels, it looks like your tank is going to stay a FOWLR for a while huh? ![]() |

Re: It was a good road trip
Yeah, it is gonna stay that way. I have another tank in the works, got that drilled this weekend. Just a basement project away from getting it going.
The Copperband, is doing well so far, he was eating well at the shop, and has continued here. I would love for this one to do well. |

Re: It was a good road trip
All angels are a certified gamble when putting them in a reef tank, hope you get a "nice" one.

Re: It was a good road trip
I think you'll really enjoy the black Ocellaris. We always loved ours. As they mature, the brown/orange coloration they have now will turn completely black. The eventual female will be totally black, and the remaining male may keep a slight bit of orange arounds his mouth, but that will be it.

Re: It was a good road trip
Hey Scott, thanx for the heads up on the coloration changes, now the only problem will be trying to remember what you said. I already like the fact that they are always active!!!

Yeah, that's easy for you to say, try doing that with 300 lbs. of live rock. ![]() ![]() To be honest, I have never had a dwarf angel that picked at any of my corals, guess I have been really lucky. |

Re: It was a good road trip
These guys (or gals in this case) do well in a Reef, they are plankton feeders, but really like Spectrum pellets!

Re: It was a good road trip
What do you have there Mike? I suppose I could get my books out, but asking is easier.
