olympus evolt 500
I have had this camera for about 6 months now and really need to start using it. it's an 8 mp DSLR and I have 2 lenses; 14-45mm and 40-150mm.
Any tips on how to use this? I know it's a broad question, but I need to start somewhere. Also, I want to get a decent macro lense. What should I look at?

Re: olympus evolt 500
Hey Skriz,
Have you read the basics threads at the top of this forum? Those are really simple in explaining the difference in shutter speed, ISO, and aperture. Scott and I jsut had a really good thread helping him dial in his camera, Photo Training that is a pretty good read too. As for Macro lenses, I don't know much about Olympus glass, I am sure it is pretty good stuff, I just haven't used it myself. Canon/Nikon seems to be the majority of the DSLR market right now, and as such they have the most available for specialty work. Check out Digital Cameras, Camcorders, TV's, Home Theater, DVD Players, Apple iPods and Digital cameras, all other cameras and everything photographic from Adorama Camera for Olympus I'm sure you will find something... |

All of the reviews for this camera are positive. You may be interested to examine them through this location, (SmartRatings - Reviews & Ratings for Olympus Evolt E-500 SLR Digital Camera). Just my 2 cents.
