Cool New Product!
I know it doesn't automagically upload to the Reefland Gallery, but it does load up to your Computer automagically!
Eye-Fi » Home It is more expensive then a non wireless 2GB Card, but the coolness of this is just to much to pass up! You can configure this to load up images to other galleries, like the one I use for my business SmugMug Photo Sharing. Your photos look better here. . (I have a coupon code for $5 off if someone wants to try that for non-reef pictures.) Anyway, it is a very easy tool for uploading, and from what I have read on my photo boards the uploading doesn't seem to kill the battery that fast, you may sacrifice a hundred shots or so it seems. |

Re: Cool New Product!
This is really cool card... Very handy if you are on the photo shoot, somewhere outdoors and such. I always use my card reader that I bought couple of years ago for $15 because I'm home most of the time and upload my pictures manually where I want them.

Re: Cool New Product!
You're welcome Gene, I thought it was really cool! I'm thinking in the right application, that would be a lot of fun. You could upload to a URL real time, so relatives out of town could see pictures as it happens, etc....
OR at a school dance, almost instant proofs on a computer screen without a cord. Or for Reef tank work, you could take THOUSANDS of images on that one card, only stopping to reformat once in a while! ![]() |
