Guys I need some high quality pictures from all of you. These are to go on a poster on that aquarium I've been building. The poster will show the fish and give some information on them. I plan on giving credit to you underneath each photo used as well as a thank you to Reefland.com somewhere on it for the help. Hopefully I can help some others find this site that might not have otherwise. The lobby gets around 700 people through it on any given school day and lately the aquarium has become a huge hit so these will be seen. Here is a list of the photos I'm trying to get. It would help to have them in jpeg format.

1. Neocirrhites armatus - Flame Hawk
2. Salarias fasciatus - Algae blenny
3. Gramma loreto - Royal Gramma
4. Chromis viridis - Green Chromis
5. Amphiprion clarkii - Yellow Tail Clown
6. Ctenochaetus strigosus - Kole Tang

There are 8 galleries there, that you can copy the original file from, just drag your mouse over the image, and a drop down will give you the save as option.

and of course there is my gallery.... I am fairly certain there is some Gramma Loreto images in there.

I've got a couple of Flamehawk images but they aren't all that great. I mean they are not print quality or anything but decent web images.

Mike I looked through your gallery and couldn't find the Gramma images. I need a good side view.

I have just found some pics of a previous hawkfish that are pretty nice and shouldn't have listed that one. The hawk is the only picture I can contribute worth calling my own.

I'll look thru my full res folder in a little bit, I know I have some Kole Tang images, and Royal Gramma as well. I have a couple of chromis in my tank now, but have not taken any images of them. (I had 3, one dissappeared.)

Chuck, you are welcome to any of the images you need from my gallery.
I have some chromis images there as well, I think.

PS. Chuck, if you intend on printing images let me know and I will email you some high resolution images that are more suitable for printing (like 300dpi instead of web's 72).

Not going to get any good high resolution pictures from me. I am lucky to get a few good coral pictures every now and then and that is about it.

PM me your email address so I can send you full resolution picture of that clownfish shot. I will browse my hard drive for some Chromis images. I know I had some but not sure if they are high resolution or not, will let you know as soon as I find some.

Great find Scott! Charlie do you mind if I use it? I'm sure the school knows but what are the legal rules involved in posting pictures that are not your own? As long as permission is given I don't see a problem but are there any rules in those regards?

As long as you obtain permission there shouldn't be any legal problems with using images.

Gene is correct on the image usage, without permission... Up to $30,000 fine per image!!! The burden off proof is on the photgrapher though, and it is rarely enforced...

Ok...that sucks. I found a really nice picture of an old Zeiss microscope on a page. I was going to put it in my powerpoint presentation for microtechnique. It's going on the webpage for the class and now I'm not sure if I can use it. I put a reference page on it cited it.

I'm sure you will be fine, it is one thing to use an image for referrence, another to use it for personal gain.

Just don't try and SELL that image!

its not the greatest pic of one but your more than welcome to use it if you want
