I use a 24-70 2.8L or a 70-200 2.8L with a 500D Charlie.
I want the 100mm, but I jsut haven't found myself with $500 that didn't need to spent somewhere else. (Rent, Food, etc... ;) )
Are you using extension tubes with the 70-200 Mike. I was going to do some experimenting today once I get the coralline cleaned off the front glass.![]()

You are probably right, but what about the composition. Better with subject off set or centered.

I like the object centered myself. The composition is all self preference though. JMHO
